Focus on Teams

Teams experience significant changes and challenges in their collaboration today. Global, remote, dispersed, multicultural, intergenerational – especially in high performance teams, a wide variety of people with diverse values and experiences work closely together. To ensure collective team success it is essential everyone is clear about their roles and responsibilities in the team and how it connects to the organization and stakeholders.

What are the skills and capabilities, knowledge and experiences, values and motivation everyone brings to the team? How can these potentials be effectively captured and utilized in a collective endeavour?

The team needs to:

  • define a collective purpose and strategic goals?
  • optimise team performance and capability?
  • embrace cross-functional and cross-cultural collaboration?
  • implement Objectives and Key Results (OKR) at team levels?
  • develop an agile and growth mindset?
  • grow the effectiveness of stakeholder engagement?
  • create a learning culture?

These are just some factors and questions we address and work on in my team coaching sessions, workshops, and trainings. Together, we increase awareness in the team on how to best use each other’s strength to achieve common goals collectively. Embracing a systemic perspective enables the team to build a greater understanding on how to co-create value with and for all stakeholders.
